1st Haydn String Quartet Masterclass with Prof. Rainer Schmidt

"JOSEPH HAYDN - THE FATHER OF THE STRING QUARTET"

Venue: Esterházy Castle, Fertőd-Eszterháza, Hungary

Check in: 3rd September, Friday at 19.00 in Esterházy Castle, 

Active Participants: 5 String Quartets

Closing Date fo applications: 30th August 2010

Course Repertoire: At least 3 works from the classical period (J. Haydn, W.A. Mozart, L. van Beethoven, Fr. Schubert and his contemporaries) are to be prepared ready for performance.

Lessons: Prof. Rainer Schmidt will teach 6 hour daily – each quartet receive 5 lessons during the masterclass in a future schedule which meens approx. 5-6 active hour / Quartet.

The lessons are only for passive participants

– Bank transfer of Registration Fee (100 Euro)

Final concert performing by the active string quartets: 8th September 2010 7.30 pm 

Registration fee: 100 Euro / Quartet

The registration fee is due upon registration and has to be credit to the bank account two weeks after registration.

Course Fee for active participants: 800 Euro /Quartet

Course fee for passive participants: 60 Euro /person
